TGIF

Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
Jesus Christ, Mark 2:17
We have come to love "First Friday" (FF), you can never expect it to be the same, sometimes is very peaceful (as peaceful as a FF can be), sometimes is chaotic, this FF was the former.
With a mixture of groups like lesbians, homosexuals, atheists, polite and not so polite, satanists, goths, agnostics, hippies and punks, sometimes with one group more predominant throughout the night, which makes it the most varied place to ever witness, is rough, and you need to be prayed up, and trust that God will give the words to speak, for believe they will challenge you.
This last FF while we were praying I saw the Jesus Flag raised upon the gateway of the place.
When we got there our company got delayed for about 30min, so Alex, Valerie and I were standing at what the Lord had previously showed us was the gate to the "First Friday", the place were everyone must come through. So there we were Alex and Val with their shofars playing, and me lifting name of Jesus , it was awesome, people were taken back reading "Jesus", some mockingly were bowing down, the Lord gave us this "you are doing a prophetic sign, because you will bow to the name of Jesus".
We also prayed, while waiting for the rest of the team, and a sense of release and peace filled us. Once everyone got there, we went in and started to pass gospel tracts (specially designed by us for this event), we prayed for people and led some to the Lord.
  • A lady prayed for a man, he asked her "what did you get out of that?"...he continued "I live in New Orleans, and I am going back tomorrow, everything you prayed for was everything I needed".
  • Someone started to talk with a homosexual and God's love filled the witness heart, she told him so and offered to pray for him, as she did God's love touched them both, when he left he told his boyfriend "did you feel that?!"
  • We are getting to be known: "Hey, that's the Jesus man!" A girl at the FF said to friend, referring to Alex.
  • Another lady was passing fliers for a bar, we gave her a tract she took it smiling and saying "I always get one of these, every month".

We are seeing the youth of the church come forth will boldness, and are praying waiting for the prophetic and the healing anointing of God to move with power.

Come and witness with us, I always say "If you survive the FF, you can go (and witness) anywhere".
